About us

By eliminating social isolation and encouraging possibilities for their development, empowerment, and mental and emotional well-being, INVICTUS Afghan Youth Station works to prevent alienation and despair among young Afghan people in Sydney. Collaboration, innovation, and community building are the foundations of our work.

Our Programs

Social creativity

To help our participants grow confidence, strengthen their verbal language abilities, and encourage positive social skills, we incorporate a variety of creative activities in our program. Offering a place where young people come together and make friends helps with integration and reduce isolation.

Our creative activities are geared toward enabling young people to:

  • learn from one another and from the various cultures pull each other up and enjoy learning new talents while working together
  • find out what's accessible to them in their suburbs, and create social connections
  • build self-confidence, social skills, cooperation, and leadership

Girls Group

We work with the council to provide a weekly online and in-person program for young girls aged 14 to 18 through our Girls Group, which is directed by our INVICTUS girl team.

Click on our referral page or send us an email at invictus@resolutioncs.com.au to learn more about the Girls Group, current programming, and how to join or refer a young girl!
